The FoodConscious project was developed to help address this issue by empowering professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and manage food waste more effectively. 

This platform offers a flexible, accessible and free of charge learning environment based on the FoodConscious Competence Framework and Curriculum. You can explore: 

  • In COURSE section, five Modules, available in six languages, guided by avatars or enriched with interactive games, present practical strategies and best practices to prevent food waste. 
  • In Self-Assessment Tool section, VET trainers and Foodservice Professionals, can identify their skill gaps and personalize their learning journey. The Tool is also available in all six project’s languages.
